The WHO Global Network of Age-friendly Cities and Communities has ignited the voices and actions of not only civil society but leaders of all levels of government in many countries around the word. This enthusiasm and energy will manifest itself through the upcoming IFA 15th Global Conference on Ageing in Niagara Falls, Canada with at least 1 in 3 abstracts within the Age-friendly Environments theme.
In response to this unprecedented interest IFA is pleased to invite your city and community to be part of the Age-friendly Global Village. This Village is a unique opportunity for network members to showcase their work, share knowledge and reach an international audience of experts, thought leaders and individuals with a keen interest in the field. IFA hopes that through the Age-friendly Global Village and other “conference moments” such as the Age-friendly Summit, dialogue is fostered toward a deeper understanding of what it takes to create an environment that enables older people to do what they have reason to value. Download the Age-Friendly Global Village Prospectus and secure your booth early as spaces will be limited.
