To ensure the health and safety of all delegates, speakers, staff and volunteers, the IFA has decided to re-invent the 15th Global Conference “Rights Matter” and give delegates the option to share insights, collaborate and connect safely with global experts in the field of ageing in-person as well as virtually.  

While attending in person to the 15th Global Conference is also possible, in the virtual conference you will get the same content you would receive in a traditional conference with the advantages of being more cost-effective and being able to listen to the content on your own time and when it is convenient for you.

What to expect?

The IFA knows that delegates look for greater interaction, connectivity and innovation in their conferences, that is why, in order to elevate their experience, the virtual event will include the following features plus many more!

  • Virtual presentations – Interested in presenting but cannot attend the in-person conference? Not a problem! Delegates can now present virtually. Whether it is a paper, poster, symposium or a workshop abstract you can now present in front of thousand of delegates and experts in the field of ageing from the comfort of your office.

  • Simultaneous translation – The IFA is aware that delegates from all over the world will be joining the virtual event that is why simultaneous translation in English and French will be available in Keynote Speakers presentations and some abstracts presentations.
